Raising Cane’s Direct Mail Campaign

Challenge
As part of its overall growth strategy, Raising Cane’s, a unique quick service restaurant (QSR) chain, wanted to gaina presence in the very lucrative non-commercial foodservice market, including installing standalone concepts in colleges, universities, and airports.

Approach
The Ideaworks team immersed itself in the culture of Raising Cane’s, using the very exciting and engaging philosophy of the chain itself to create a high-energy, attention-grabbing direct mail campaign that employed a three phase contact strategy to build recognition and interest in this relatively new restaurant chain.

Results
Following the distribution of the various campaign materials, Raising Cane’s experienced a 20% increase in new account leads, and have entered into a number of client negotiations for the placement of the chain’s concept in the non-commercial market. In addition, the company was so pleased with the signature brochure component of the campaign that they have decided to use it in a modified version as their primary corporate brochure and employee recruitment tool.
