Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins Marketing Materials
Challenge
The American Hockey League affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins was in need of an array of marketing materials to help introduce the club to a new target market, while also generating sales of individual game tickets and season ticket holder packages.
Approach
Leveraging the club’s existing logo/mascot as well as other available imagery, Ideaworks’ graphic design team generated a complete portfolio of advertising and marketing materials to help drive awareness and ticket sales with the Penguins‘ target audience. Materials ran the gamut from game day line-up cards and yearbooks to newspaper advertisements and promotional giveaways. We also created special Kid’s Club materials featuring the Penguins’ mascot Tux.
Results
The Penguins front office was thrilled with the materials created, and in no small part credits their initial growth and success in many ways to the professional image developed by Ideaworks on behalf of the club.
